Assassin's Creed Reveals Surprising Attack on Titan Event for Thanksgiving
In a unexpected crossover event that challenges usual predictions, Ubisoft has unveiled an virtual crossover between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the popular anime series Attack on Titan. The unexpected Thanksgiving event runs from November 25 through December 22, offering no-cost additional story content for Shadows players.
Mysterious Adventure Disclosed
According to the formal announcement, "A mysterious encounter leads heroes Naoe and Yasuke into a original quest, where hints of forbidden rituals and terrifying metamorphoses resonate through the shadows." The narrative introduces a "strangely dressed woman named Ada" who charges the characters with traveling into the Crystalline Cavern—a significant location from Attack on Titan—to liberate her friend from a secret sect.
The adventure concentrates on "bizarre experiments and a monstrous foe" and is open to all players who have gained access to the Yasuke character.
Iconic Locations and Metamorphoses
The preview features the Hidden Temple from Attack on Titan redesigned as the Crystal Cave. This important location was earlier where the Reiss royal family transmitted the Founding Titan ability through generations. The preview ends with a striking scene showing a character, likely the hostage, transforming into a Titan that looms over Naoe and Yasuke.
Unique Items and Additional Material
Players who accomplish the adventure will obtain an exclusive katana alongside multiple items concealed throughout the area in concealed chests. The update also features premium Attack on Titan item packs, offering:

This update also adds the game's latest no-cost story addition, titled "The Mystery."
