Boxer's Attitude

"I plan to damage his features and hurt his body. My goal is to show my superiority," the British boxer, 35 years old, stated.

"I'll stamp all over him. That's a fighter's mentality.

"I'm going to genuinely try to hurt him. That's my intention."

Respectful Exchange

In spite of those words, a composed Joshua and internet personality Paul - typically recognized for his dramatics - were respectful and maintained decorum with each other.

Paul rather targeted former Joshua's opponent Francis Ngannou and described him as "a joke" after the Cameroonian declined a bout proposal.

Taking Aim at Fury

Joshua, meanwhile, targeted British opponent Fury - and refused a £1m bet 'Tyson Fury' claims he will make on a victory for Paul.

"Jake Paul is better than Fury - he showed up," Joshua commented.

"I acknowledge that."

Legitimate Opponent

In spite of saying he intends to punish Paul, Joshua declined to comment unfavorably about his opponent's fighting skills.

"Jake is a legitimate boxer," he said.

"The next fight will be me versus Tyson Fury next year," Paul said.
